VorTech MP10 QD can no longer DIY replace bearings?

Postby tank » Sat 30 Mar, 2019 5:23 pm

My VorTech MP10 quiet drive (manufactured late 2017) burned out its bearings, but upon disassembly I find the rear bearings are part of the face plate and therefore cannot be replaced :grump:

No amount of WD40 fixes it :(

Are you sure there's not a bearing pressed into that faceplate as it would be pretty expensive for ecotech to have a custom bearing faceplate made. Unless they REALLY don't want people doing diy repairs or the design of the pump needed that type of assembly.

If your not prepared to be wrong, then you'll never come up with anything original.
