Aquarium mat options

Postby curviceps » Mon 25 Jun, 2018 3:34 pm

Hi all

In the process of setting up a rimless open top 90x45x45 tank that would be sitting with the whole bottom glass on top of the cabinet. Other than white styrofoam which would be in plain sight, what other material could I use that is preferably black, how thick and where could I buy them? e.g. I've heard of yoga mats, etc.

Looking forward to some nice ideas.

Cheers
Tim

I usually just get the high density black foam rubber from Clarke rubber (not affiliated). They will have plenty to choose from and you can get it cut to whatever length you require.
