I hope it doesn't get 40deg+ in Wollongong

that shed would be extra hot

insulation, circulating fans to cool it down perhaps?

Hey mate.
tank build is looking good!
re- insulation, there is an insulation called "aircell. it is rated up to R2.2 and is only 10mm thick. just looks like a foil. house walls are normally R2 so should be enough to keep it cool.
again tank looks sweet, very clean and professional
Cheers Ollie

Great looking setup.

Just a word of advice, don't hang the cords on the Vortech's. If the wet end comes off, the dry end will hit the floor and possibly break. They have a bit you stick on the glass aboive the pump and then cable tie the cord to the bit.

Cheers

I'll be curious how you go with the shed setup. I'm planning to do a similar setup for my tank in the near future, but will have the entire sump outside so that all the noisy and messy stuff is away from the living room.

Will be tagging along and am interested in any unexpected complications you run into with the split room setup.
