Nearly finished, just needs the top and bottom decorative strips to hide the tank bottom.

The tank and sump should be here in a few days :)

Next job is to do the plumbing.

Was quoted for 10mm thick glass but they did it in 12mm at no extra cost

hood

Postby Daz the reefo » Thu 12 Mar, 2009 9:41 pm

Starting to look great, I have a question regarding your hood. how have you set up your doors? are they removable or slide type? I can't quite make it out in the pic.
cheers

Thanks Matt.
I have no doubt it wont be as grand as what you are planning though.

Ta Daz.
All the panels in the hood slide up and can be removed completely.

In the hood Daz.
I have 2 timber strips, running from the centre front of the hood and to the back corners. (V shape)
It's the only way I could think of to have all the panels slide up.

Almost done, just need to build up the left rear and glue the frags on and hope the Acro's colour up again.

Great tank Alf...will look fantastic once everything settles.

I bet aquascaping was much easier with the extra width!!
