Hi Guys,

Been floating around here for a while now and love checking out everyones journals. Anyway i decided to take some photos so here we go. This is my first tank and by no means can compare to many others on here but its mine and i still love it. :thumbsup:

Tank: 4x2x2
Sump 3x1.5x1.5 (with fuge and macro)
Flow = 70x approx (1 x resun wave maker, 2 x seio M1100, 1 x K3)
Return pump: 3000L
Skimmer: Octopus DNW 150
Fluid bed filter: Running Rowaphos and Rowacarbon 24/7
Lighting: 7 x 54W T5 ( with 4 x 15cm fans )

Front

ATI -Blue plus
ATI -Blue plus
ATI -Aqua blue special
KZ - Fiji purple
ATI - Blue plus
ATI -Aqua blue special
ATI - Blue plus

Back

My tank has been up and running about 18 months now but since ive been moving around have only really spent the last 6 months looking after it properly.

Thanks to Pete @ 100% reef safe for 99% of my fish, inverts and corals

the purple Poci looks good

if it were me i would put all the zoas in one spot away from your sps. they can tend to grow over them in time and are hard to get off.

Cheers mate, yours is one of the tanks that inspired me to get into the hobby. yeah i have moved all my zoas away from the SPS now (old photo) :thumbsup:

Zoanthids on the rock work, together with Acroporas?

I think you will have some issues with them later on! Mine encrust over the substrate to invade anything within its "blast radius".

Other than that, your tank is looking good. I like the aquascaping, but I wouldn't place my Acropora frags that close to each other.

thanks for he advice. once i get some more putty ill move some. do you guys use aqua needit or is there some gel glue whihc is better?

Zoos and Acro frags have all been moved. separated and now have more breathing room :thumbsup:

looks like you have been picking up my bad habits on frag distances tho, all of mine are way too close to each other :konk:

and i have zoas growing around acros, but its not a nasty variety and seems to leave them alone. :thumbsup:

Yeah the tank seems to have settled down pretty good now. P04 and N03 levels are 0 and have been for a while now. i feed pretty heavy the water just stays good? just took lots of patience

Thanks to you for all your help with my cyano issues a while back. Hope you like the fiji purple. i reckon 4 blue and 2 fijis would be an awesome look but i guess i need some white light in there thus the 2 ocean pros

Just started trialing some Zeo products

dosing 4 drops of each at night

Amino acids
Coral Vitalizer
Sponge power

Not sure if im imagining it but i swear after 3 days of dosing Polyp extension has improved

Alk - 8Dkh
Calc -420

dosing damprid and dicarb soda daily. just built a doser that doses alk 3 x per day. i find alk stability is VERY important for SPS.
