Introduction:
I have been reefing for a few years now, I started with a 2 foot cube and although there was a lot of very trying times I battled through it each time and come out better in the end. I learnt a lot with the cube and decided it was time to move into something a bit bigger and nicer.

System Objectives: To have a happy thriving reef.... What more could you ask for :thumbsup:

System Type: Mainly LPS, well by LPS I mean euphyllias :devil:

Display System:

Strike up Date: November 2013

Display Tank: 3x2x2

Display Lighting: ATI Sunpower 8 x 24 Watt Dimmable

Stand: Timber, 1 meter high

Hood: None

Sump: 750 x 450 x 450

Refugium: None

Refugium Lighting: None


Support systems:

System Water: ASW for now but will be moving to NSW

Display Water circulation: Tunze and Vortech's

Return Pump: Aquamedic OR 6500

Skimmer: Reef Octopus Core 800I

Evaporation Top Up: Tunze Osmolator 3155


Chemical Support:

Calcium Addition: Brightwell Alkalin8.3-P

Alkilinity Addition: Brightwell Calcion-P

Other Chemical Maintenance: Brightwell Magnesion-P, Potassion-P, Strontion-P, Lugol's, Ferrion

Current Water Chemistry: If applicable
Nitrates: 0.5-1.0 ppm (salifert)
Phosphates: 0.00 (Hanna)
Alkalinity: 7.8 dkh (Hanna)
Calcium: 420 ppm (Hanna)
Salinity / Specific Gravity: 35 ppt
Magnesuim: 1350 ppm (salifert)

Where did you pick that orange hammer up? It's magnificent, last colour I need for my collection! Nice setup btw.

Thanks, the orange along with most of my other hammers come from Elite Corals Australia. Some of the best stock in the world!

From the left hand side - please excuse the dirty glass, just cleaned a patch because I was filming the clowies spawning. Then decided to take photos and forgot to clean the rest of the tank :konk: And ignore all the bits laying on the sand bed, trying to figure out what I want to keep. And the angel has been giving a couple of the acans a bit of a razzing.... :(
