Hanna checker

Postby Vic » Fri 14 Sep, 2018 4:30 pm

Hi guys,

Are people using the phosphate hanna checker or the phosphorus hanna checker to measure phosphates?

I was speaking to hanna and they recommended the phosphorus checker as its apparently more accurate.

Thanks
Vic

Hey Vic,

This comparison by BRStv sums it up pretty well: https://youtu.be/6SFMWRG0fRM

I use the Phosphorous checker :)

If using the phosphorus test you need to multiply the answer by 3.066 to convert phosphate.
Both only test reactive phosphate, neither detect organic phosphorus.
