Where do you get your 2 part chemicals?

Yeah the RODI water is clear. The alk mixture looks fine. No colour to that one using the same water.
Internet searches didn’t reveal much. Possible oxidisation once opened or some iron contamination were two possible explanations I found.

I was sure I got the calcium from chemsupply but they have changed their website and I can’t find the calcium chloride flakes any more - at least not the exact product I bought. But I remember at the time it was at least as pure as what Randy’s recipe called for. I can’t recal which but it was at least food grade but I’m pretty sure it was pharmaceutical grade.

I’m thinking my lps issue is bacterial.

I finally got a doser - the ekoral. I’ll be hooking that up soon.

I grab mine from 100% reef safe.

The Ca always mixes clear. 2 part Mg has a dirty look (like bore water) but apparently it's not uncommon

Can I get some feedback from people who regularly dose Mg, please.
If it’s a regular dose, especially if you’re using an automatic doser - how much Mg do you regularly dose, compared to Alk and Ca?

Depends on the size of the tank.
I use to use tech M and kept it at 1400 keeps brio away.
It can effect the uptake of cal and carbonate so monitor once a month once stable.
Randy 2 part has an amount off memory just search for his thread.
