We are currently showing off a new campaign exclusive to ILLUMAGIC! It's actually a campaign in "Downselling" to our customers! This below strategy only works on tanks with more of a centre scape of plants and corals as opposed to end to end planted or coral tanks!

So basically with the ILLUMAGIC pendant hanging system you can save yourself 25% on retail pricing and a further 25% on your electricity bill!

The trick is to purchase an LED lighting system one foot short than your tank length! So for a 120cm tank you would purchase the 120cm pendant system with a 90cm ILLUMAGIC BLAZE unit! We again want to make sure that your tank inhabitants are flourishing so make sure that your tank is set up in a more centre landscape style.

By using this approach you can purchase a shorter LED unit saving you on the retail purchase and of course with 25% less LED's you will save 25% on your already cheaper electricity bills!

When LED's first came out it was all about the ENERGY SAVINGS! But some of the other LED brands out there run as hot and as much power as the old metal halides! This is just expensive and doesn't do anything beneficial for your tank except promote more algae! So please remember, generally tanks no deeper than 75cm do not need the overpowered LED units, they are just costing you more money!

What size Illumagic Blaze would you recommend for a 70x70x70 cube?

I'm intending to get an Illumagic Blaze and a new cube, just deciding on whether to upgrade my tank or lights first.

A 60cm Blaze would suit perfectly if you want extra light to get perfectly to all corners, if you have a centre scape than you can get away with 45cm blaze with a 80cm pendant system.

What's your closest or preferred LFS?

Tank Aquariums in Belmont will be where I purchase from. Love their setup where they have the lights running. I just need to settle on whether I am going to upgrade the tank or lights first.

Have you got any other shots/videos of a 60cm light on a 90cm tank?

I am about to build a 90x60x60cm tank and am sitting on the fence between the 60 and 90cm lights, probably still more towards going the 90cm light. If I went the smaller light option would that rule out SPS in the future, or just limit it to the centre of the tank?

As you can see there is slightly less light around the corners only, so you are not only limited to the centre of the tank as such but more centre, front and back but leave the corners to the LPS.
