jestronix wrote:Man that is s tarting to look sweet, nothing like real sun light hey :) I found sometimes things got burnt from too much par but nothing beats mother nature. I had to move my tank away due to moving the loungeroom around, MH T5 and led mix is ok but its not like the sun. Im actually seriously looking at buying a plasma LEP for my setup. Flanked by either blue led or T5 actinic.

Love the week, tagging along.

I haven't heard of plasa LEP yet. Sounds interesting, will interested to see how that light works out.

It's been nearly a year since I last updated my TJ. I've been super lazy with the hobby. Just doing regular minor services on the tank as most things are automated. I'm surprise that anything survived, I guess that's the upside of having tank hardened frags growing in my tank.

My tank is pretty much at stage where it is almost self efficient. I haven't done any real water changes in about 7 months (wouldn't recommend it to everyone but what ever works well for you just keep doing it). Corals looks happy and colourful and I'm 100% happy to watch it grow and just enjoying it. Everything is pretty automated ATM. The only manual thing I do are:

- RO water topup every 2-3 weeks
- Alk, Cal, Mag mix and refill every month or month and half
- Refill the auto fish feeder 2-3 weeks
- Clean/replace filter socks 2-3 weeks
- Clean Skimmer monthly (real thick [censored] :nut: :roflmao: )

Felt bored this morning, the weather is a bit of a drizzling and there's hardly any sunlight. Pink and purple SPS looks awesome under natural sunlight.
