Introduction:

I am currently running a 75L Zeo Aio that is working well, i have good growth colour and huge PE I will try and keep it running if i can.
The little tank is cracking along at the moment so its time to go big. im also sick of seeing all the beautiful big tanks then coming home to mine lol.
And I have to represent MASS.

System Objectives: To hopefully have a nice happy healthy reef.

System Type: ZEOvit SPS Reef.

Display System:

Strike up Date: TBA

Display Tank: Starphire 1514x760x600 with beananimal overflow about 685 litres. (Semillion's old tank)

Display Lighting: Ati Hybrid 8x80w 4x75w.

Stand: Timber stand black cladding.

Hood: Pfffft rimless all the way...

Sump: TBA, Still need to design and build one yet.

Refugium:N/A

Refugium Lighting: N/A

Frag tank: 1400x500x300 with sump


Support systems:

System Water:RedSea Blue bucket.

Display Water circulation:Im going to try something a bit different with this. It has a closed loop setup but im going to try a couple of DC12000's and i have a guy in the states making me a Jebao/Apex mod cable to allow me to make them controllable via the apex to get some random flow.

Return Pump:Royal Exclusiv RD3 speedy 80w.

Skimmer: Royal Exclusiv Double Cone 200.

ZEOvit Reactor:
KZ medium.

Dosing Pump: Kamoer 3 channel + 4 channel slave.

Controller: Neptune Apex.

Evaporation Top Up:Tunze ATO.


Chemical Support:

Calcium Addition: TBA

Alkilinity Addition: TBA/

Other Chemical Maintenance: I will put a pic of my dosing schedule when i start the tank.

Current Water Chemistry:TBA
Nitrates:
Phosphates:
Alkalinity:
Calcium:
Salinity / Specific Gravity:
Magnesuim:

This Saturday mate I pick it up then hopefully not going to take to long to get wet just need to make a couple of decisions on what gear to use.

Had to reread your introduction when you said your nano was cracking along. Thought that the glass had cracked.

Also that XXXX is so out classed next to your skimmer.

Looking forward to this Matt. Why no RD3 pump for the skimmer?

Haha nope it's going well now man I don't think I can bring myself to close it down will see.

Hence why it's in the photo it won't get drank it's been in the fridge for months :roflmao:

Cant really say just yet, still working up my bioload.

I will probably leave it on one setting, but will be easier to adjust flow and standpipe, rather than just standpipe.

Thats one big skimmer!!! I think you should have kept the tunze nano, would certainly have done the job better than the RE :roflmao:

This tank sounds like its going to be a killer :thumbsup: Can't wait to see it up and running :)

:cheers: yea the DT is only about 625L bigger then my current tank so just a little upgrade :roflmao:

She just couldn't believe how big my.....

Thanks mate but I can't take all the credit for the CL Jay came up with the idea to use DC12000'S I looked into making them controllable via the apex.

Interested to see how you find the move to a big tank, as I am hoping to do the same this year.

Managing the water for water changes is already becoming a big shock for me, as two 30L containers would last me two months and I never had to think about it. :tongue:

NSW is the way to go. Moved from 80L to 300L last year and also change to NSW. so far everything goes well in my tank
