Love the idea of a steel stand thinking of building one for my new tank which is a similar size to yours, may I ask what size steel and thickness you are using?

Okay, so the weir has a small leak right at the top :wall:
probably a good thing as i will be cutting the weir out to repair and it will give an opportunity to remove the black paint that is under it.
now just to get shares in a fishing line company so i can cut all the silicone joins.

I have finally got the god forsaken weir off.
Paint has been cleaned off the the tank.
Now to clean all the silicon off all the bits and the tank then to reattach the weir.

Thats why i had to remove it, to clean the paint off from between the weir and the tank.
This tank is a few years old so I'm guessing construction methods were a little different back then.
