===Leigh's Red Sea Reef===

Postby Leighw85 » Fri 06 Jul, 2012 12:31 am

Hi guys. :wavey:

So i shut down my 4ft aquarium and was planning on having just a small 50 litre nano tank.
After deciding that i had to keep my clowns and my blenny and the nano was not big enough :wall: , i treated myself (and the fish) to a new tank.
I decided on and got a Red Sea 130D. :nod: The all in one unit will be good nice and easy for the partner to look after as im going away for work.

So after some discussion with a couple of people on here and at my LFS i didnt need to do to much of a cycle as i took 60 litres from my old tank, and put in 60 litres of new water. Also just chucked in my live rock that i had from the 4fter.
Although i still cycled for 3 days and all my reading were normal :thumbsup:

Ok so added a couple of things over the weekend. Got a really nice Golfball Goni and a Coral Goby.
The coral goby is tiny. He is pretty cool. Didn't get on to well with the clowns at the start as he was trying to hang out in their hammer.

Nice looking setup! Clowns look like they have set up home already.

Yeah the clowns love that hammer. They have lived in it for about 1 year now. It was in my old tank, and it had to come to the new one because of the clown haha
