Do it Rob! even have a think about going wider, i have a 5x2x2 at the moment, we're just planning some house renovations at the moment, if i get the ok from the minister of finances, i will be replacing the tank and going to 2.5 wide.

I hear ya all...go for a 2.5' wide :roflmao:

Made my decision. 5x2x2, and I will Iove it, I plan to have similar rock work to now at the left hand end...then all open swimming space apart from a small bommie of choice corals/clams.

Bluey will love the swimming space :-x :-x

Tank & lights ordered, 2 weeks delivery then 6 weeks in prototype mode in garage :roflmao: :roflmao:

Thanks for the comments

Looking very good Rob , Just watch that those ATI lights don't melt the LPS , Keep them high until they burn in and lower them once they settle in , Or get the Parr metre to check the readings on the old and new tank

Thanks fongy

The stand is the same style as the current one, the tank is the centre peice of the living room, so its money well spent.

I also add brushed stainless steel flashing around the top of the stand & light cover, it really modernises the tank :pirate: :pirate:
