OK, first off I though I should start this 2nd TJ.

Just thinking of the fish list atm. What would your fish list be for this tank keeping in mind its rimless and BB (no jumpers)?

Aqua scape I'm thinking of getting 10kg or premium LR and trying to make a single flat topped bommie.

I figured all wrasse are prone to jump anyway, so having sand dosen't really solve that unfortunately with the rimless tank.

Orchids or grammas? I'll look into it.

welcome back :wavey:
pair of gramma's, yellow tang (small), flame angel, i try to go for fish that will contrast the corals, you cant get a true yellow coral etc.
then get a few smaller things to create movement.

Thanks Ryan

Already had a yellow tang and some sort of red fish, flame angle or hawk, then some anthias or a pair or some small fish...

Lighting will be an 8x24w ATI powermodule.

Bubbleboy is kindly welding me up some brackets to hang this unit, i plan to spray it with "white knight" black spray paint.

Not sure on the bulb combo though, anyone wanna chime in?

Good choice mate

I'm currently running:
3 x aquablue special
3 x blue plus
1 x actinic
1 x purple plus

This give a very crisp colour temp without to much blue, I am contemplating swapping out one aquablue special for another blue plus but don't want to tinker to much at the moment. let me know when you are ready for some frags.

I'm pretty sure i will have these bulbs to play with.

5 x Aqua Blue plus
3 x actinic
4 x Aqua blue specials
2 x purple plus

Some old some new.

I will pick up the silicone this coming weekend to reset the perspex and pick up the LR the following weekend giving the tank around a week to cure.

Pro colour is crap that is why they stopped making it, I had some before and hated it, all the qld love it cause it is cool In Their circles (thanks to some older members) but everyone else in the world hates it and it rightfully should be defunct

What would you suggest Ryan from the bulbs above in front to back order?

since you only have 8 bulbs to play with you want to only have one p+ in there and actintic also and want them close to the centre of the fixture.

blue plus
blue special
blue plus
purplpe plus
actintic
blue special
blue plus
blue special

or
b+
bs
p+
b+

The V2 is alot thicker and develops a 'skin' quicker so you have to be quick but i used it last time and it looked great, think i did a better job this time as well so alll goooood.
