Introduction:

Hi my name is Richard, AKA Richie or xixau (pronounce sheshaw) my Brazilian nick name as a kid.
I start this project with the dream of 4x4x2 but the price tag put me off and decided to go 4x2x2 and hope will upgrade one day
first strike up was 15Jan 2011 and after a few problems I shut down on 1th feb 2013 starting again on march 6th 2013 with different pumps and lighting, try to run a zeovit system with lots of colour
System Objectives: Colorful tank with SPS
System Type:will be in the wall, i'm making the garage in to a rumphus room with the tank and fish room under the house

Display Lighting:ATI 8x54W sunpower
Sump: firt sump skimmer, Zeovit reactor second sump frag tank, third return tank with LR
Frag Tank : 610W x 800L x 350H
Frag Tank Lighting:
- 2 T5's 54 w plus
- AquaBeam 600 Ultra Strip - Fuji purple
- AquaBeam 600 Ultra Strip - Marine White 14K
Chiller: 2x Resun CL=280

Support systems:

System Water: Natural salt water
Display Water circulation: 2x tunze 6105
Return Pump: Eheim 1260
Skimmer: BK 250 with RD3 speedy
Evaporation Top Up: PSI-020B-DI-GM

Chemical Support:

Calcium Addition: Deltec PF 601
Alkilinity Addition: Deltec PF 601
Support System: GHL Profilux III EX controller

Wow what a setup! Really love all the space in the engine room - much more than just a tank with a sump under it! Looking forward to seeing this one develop - Well done :clap:

I dry the LR in the sun one month before adding to the tanks, now i had a algae bloom of every diferent algae out there and the PH i add to give the maximum circulation i can to clean the LR and grow coraline ASAP

light upgrade begins

New Anthias added and 2 aquaray beam 600 strips
the fish list now is:
-1 marron clown
-1 blue tang
-1 yellow tang
-8 Pseudanthias squamipinnis/lyretail coralfish(1 male 7 female) Thanks Fantasea
-1 Lawnmower Blenny
-1 bi-color blenny
the new ballast arrive from reefexotics (thanks to Anthony but sadly was 120V so have to return and new ones are on the way :crossfingers: )
the new led looking good, want to add 4 reef blue 55k strips, 4 white 14K strips in total

The pendants are on and is very good, some acros lost the colour for a couple day but allready start to color again, did some shopping at coral candy, thanks ryan to let me pick up so late the corals, will post pics soon.
Start to look in to zeovit system soon.

up date on my tank,
got rid off the 2x MH= 500W, 4x pan worlds= 360W= 17.600L/h ( last 3 eletricity bills $1600) and got my self 2 x tunze 6105=26.000L/h =70W with cables to profilux extra aqua bean strips=24W, will run full zeovit again but energy safe this time,
my system when from 1200Kwh to 370Kwh :thumbsup:
now have to set it up again, then stock up with corals
will keep you posted!

Ouch that sort of bill would hurt! Nice drop is costs with the new gear though.
