Heres our two latest additions. On a sad note we had our first death. A damsel leaped out the back and wasnt noticed till he was rock hard, i thought i smelt a fishy smell a few days earlier but didnt investigate.

Keep an eye on the Linkia guys, you may have to supplement feed as I don't think it will sustain itself in your tank.

Looking good otherwise

Hi Ive been down to marine + a couple times over the last couple weeks, they seem to have heaps of good stock at the moment , corals and fish. I purchased a yellow and scorpas tang, two banggai cardinals and couple nice acans. Thephotos dont do the acans justice as the colours are really nice.

Thanks for your comments Saltwatertanklover(matt) i just wish i could work out how to take better photos to give the tank justice. We have been going since october and we are happy with how it going. So far we havent had a single death only a damsel that decided to leap out the back.

hey guys, thanks for this thread - its giving my partner and I great inspiration for our new build. we are in the process of building a new house with a inwall 5x2x2. thankfully we had purchased our skimmer befor we decided on this inwall 5fter, as it turns out its the same mod as yours. How does it go? also what size return pump are you running?

Cheers once again.

Hey guys everything looks great, however the Scopas looks like it might be suffering from HLLE.

Just keep up the foods and it should come back bigger and healthier.

symphillia
Image
a nice favite
Image
And also a nice powder blue tang from marine + , he wouldnt come out for a photo so il post later. Ive been looking at a few of my old photos to compare growth and found these two comparisons.
At purchase a few months ago

Image
And now a bit fattened up
Image
He was half bleached now has good colour all round .Also can anyone tell what the maron thing is growing in front, its grown from the live rock.I cant get a better photo it always comes up blurry but its like some sort of minature acro or something, with heaps of small pulps all over it.

Hi the tanks comeing along nicely now , i seem to have got over the worst of a phosphate spike i had and most of thecorals are starting to get back to how they were . I went down to Marine + at brighton again and they had some of the best corals iv seen since setting up. Once again i had the handbrake(wife) with me so i had to hold back but i still picked up a couple nice items.

Thanks greeni, the orange fungia yes i feed him. I generly feed most my corals offcutts of whiting with a pair of tweesers. He eats a piece about the size of a match head and i only hold it near his mouth for a few seconds and he opens it up. Day or night he doesnt seem to mind.
