Congrats for your beautiful tank, i really love your wood work and painting
I've a question on the mdf wood work. How did you attach the panel of the top light work ?

On this picture :

Did you put screw on the 19mm mdf panel slice ? Or Did you stick it with wood glue ? Or both ?
Cause i'd like to do it your way but a vendor told me that it's better not put some screw on the slice cause mdf can be crambly, not solid when we put screw ???? What size of screw did you put for 19mm panel (if you use screw ) ??

Thanks

thanks for the comment!

It was nailed in mate. I used a nailgun but no reason why you couldnt do it manually. Not big nails though. Similair to those you use on beading on floors. Punch them in and putty the holes. Good as gold.

I wouldnt screw. It will bellow the mdf out and create a weak point.

Mate, it has been pulled down and turned into a 6 x 2 x 2. Journal has been started but no one has commented on it for some reason.

Lost almost all my SPS over summer but its slowly getting back to normal. Will update the new tank over weekend. Would be good to see some feedback!
