Apparently children do that to a tank haha.
I'm keen to help if u need. Just say the word!

Ati unit end caps can be fixed easily aswell. Probably do it while it's hanging over the tank if u want?

hi all,

firstly, thanks to everyone for the offers and the messages, its great to know people will allways offer to help.

Im still around and things are going pretty well at the moment, unfortunately that doesn't include the tank :konk:

ctrl-alt-delete time has arrived.

ive started removing a lot of the bubble algae, I really need to get a photo to show how bad this stuff was/is.

a positive about trying to remove it is ive found a lot of zoanthids under the layers and layers of bubbles that I forgot I had, and even without much light they have continued to grow. so I did what I usually do, frag them. pity they are unusable until I get them dipped quarantined etc. some are really nice.

so the plan is- remove fish into a holding tank. remove corals, try and remove all the bubbles, dip them, put them into the holding tank with a desjardini sailfin tang and constantly monitor them for bubbles.

ill remove everything from my main tank, dry it all out, run fresh water and maybe a small amount of chlorine and then restart.

was never happy with the water height in my sump so I will remove a baffle and lower it by 20mm. I have my tunze ATO set up now, which is great. after all these years of it sitting in the box and me tipping water in by hand, I don't miss that.

need some new tubes and and endcap fix- nathan , sam :crossfingers:

after all of that, I might need some frags.....please
