I started to look into colour additives and got onto the fauna marin colours and since adding them I am super happy with it even dosing at 1/3 the recommended dose. I am also dosing their reef vitality. Colours have improved across the board and are much stronger and brighter. Early days but I am getting positive results.

Will be interested to hear your thoughts on the Fauna Marin colour elements.

Too early to tell especially after the issues ive had with the tank, but am dosing the three color elements and RV so will see how it goes.

I should really avoid the LFS, new shipment came in and I just had to pick up a few more pieces :P

These are straight from the foam box at the LFS to my tank, they werent even unpacked yet

I happened to have a new ABS in storage so decided to try a swap out. Here are some pics for reference, its actually a nice crisp color and not yellow at all which I was surprised at.

From left to right -
ATI Blue+
ATI Coral+
KZ Fiji Purple
Gieseman Actinic Blue
ATI Aqau Blue Special
ATI B+

And for those asking, here is a pic of the sump...very simple (and dirty right now).

That's a pretty immense change from only changing the ABS. Be interesting to see how it goes in the long term in terms of colour stability.

Its a nice change, well I like the color in both combos but I think this might be good with just a bit of different spectrum and the pinks are highlighted more...so lets see in a month how it goes.

The tank looks great under the Diuna. That's the one light I've been hanging to hear feedback on. Must admit my Pac Sun Hyperion is still running strong 3-4 years on.

Took out the PAR meter today, measurements are roughly at the midpoint of the corals...tubes are about 6 weeks old - 4B+, 2C+, 1ABS, 1FP

Getting insane growth right now so something must be right! Its at the point where im counting down days for the corals to encrust to a reference point
