Your tank is spectacular Rod!

With your gonis do they live for long in your tank? Seems like the general concensus is that they are hard to keep alive? Do you target feed the gonis?

Hi George,
I don't and never have target feed the gonis. Having said that when I feed my fish I feed my tank generally with varying size food including micro plankton etc. Plus my tank isn't pristine/perfectly clean at all times and I reckon the DSB and cryptic zones help.

The ones in the second photo I've had for about a year.
I know of many people who have successfully kept them for quite a few years now.

I wouldn't recommend them to beginners or for tanks that aren't established and stable though.

It's the little fish that makes the reef more interesting IMO.

Thanks guys. :)

I generally feed the tank with a mixture of:
Frozen: Rotifers, Mysis, Red plankton, Black mosquito larvae, Daphnia, Ocean plankton, Krill, Cyclops, Lobster eggs, White mosquito larvae, Marine mix, Fish eggs.
Dry: Ocean Nutrition Formula One flakes, Formula Two flakes, Prime Reef flakes, Spirulina flakes, New Life Spectrum pellets, Nori sheets.

Different mix each day making sure there's some larger foods and smaller foods and everyone gets fed.

Well, here's a pic of a coral I picked up a week or so ago,

Nice huh?

Interestingly it sat at the LFS for weeks, no-one was interested in it.

Base is starting to get some very bright green through it. ;)

MASAOG had a bit of a get together at my place yesterday, it seemed everyone had a good time.

Thanks to Ben (Mr Miagi) and Simon (consoltech) for taking a few pics. Thought I'd share:

Hi Nathan.

Yeah it was heart breaking at the time, but the few frags I managed to keep are now back to full colour! :pirate:

Knowing how fast that thing grows it'll get too big and become a problem once more.

Looking forward to it!
