you will have to join masov and host a meeting so we can come take a look!

is it going to be a fish only, fish only with live rock or a full on reef tank?

lol with that much swimming space you will have to get yourself a tang or two.

Welcome to RTAW Coral1
Thats a fantastic set up you have there, looking forward to following your progress.

Here are some articles which may help with your calcium reactor questions:
http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2002- ... /index.php
http://www.wetwebmedia.com/calcreactors.htm
http://ozreef.org/content/view/61/29/

If you could post a diagram or picture of your sump I'm sure people would be able to give you some valuable advice on the best way to set it up.

That thing is huge. Your fish will have heaps of space to swim around in.

I'm not sure how necessary/beneficial it would be to run your Ca reactor at this point. I would suggest determining the rate of depletion for Ca in your system as it stands. Best way to do this would be to do a series of Ca analysis over a period of time: prehaps once a day for a few days. This will let you know how much Ca is being used and how much to add.
Hope this helps

THUD! ... Sorry my jaw just dropped off!

Gottobe a posse of Sharpthinkers to go over and give Coral1 a hand. Tank like this deserves the best right from the beginning. The sump is going to be bigger than my upcoming 8'ter ... DRIBBLEDRIBBLEDRIBBLE ... damn, keyboard's all slimy now!
