Antibacterial product that contains sodium sulfathiazole, sodium sulfamethazine, and sodium sulfacetamide, which are all antibiotics. Hence the commercial product names of TriSulfa or Triple Sulfa.

Since it is an antibacterial, then it can be used for the treatment of conditions that are caused by bacteria. However, it will not help with conditions that are protozoan, such as Cryptocaryon (White Spot) or Brooklynella (Clownfish Disease). This is commonly, and incorrectly, recommended as a treatment for Cryptocaryon.
