Introduction

Commonly referred to as Sea Urchins. The appropriately selected species can be a very good algae clean up crew, especially for tanks with aggressive fish in which small algae eating fish or snails are inappropriate (due to aggression or predation).

Some species are nocturnal and will retreat to a crevice during daylight hours.
