Introduction
Commonly referred to as Dragon`s Breath or Red Wig Algae.
Characteristics
The morphology of this genus of algae is variable, both between and within species. Generally it is dark red in colour with flat, flexible fronds attached to a basal disc holdfast. The fronds are soft-gelatinous to firm.
