Following are answers to a series of Frequently Asked Questions to make it nice and easy for you to access our services.


Registration

Q. Why do I need to register?

  1. 1. It tells us who it is that we are dealing with,
  2. 2. It allows us to ensure that the person making the application for registration is authorised to represent your business,
  3. 3. Ensures that we have your full contact details in case we need to communicate with you,
  4. 4. Provides us with the opportunity to make sure you are aware of all the details associated with dealing with MASA and that you have read, understood and agree to abide by our Terms & Conditions as well as our RTAW Forum Rules.
  5. 5. So our RTAW Forum moderators know which users are associated with a business in order to moderate as per the forum rules.

Q. How do I register?

  1. 1. Ensure your business is listed in the RTAW Business Directory and that information contained in it is accurate.
  2. 2. Complete the online Business Registration Form.

Q. Why must I have my business listed in the RTAW Business Directory prior to registration?

  1. So we don't need to collect certain information from you more than once,
  2. To ensure information in our RTAW Business Directory is accurate,
  3. To ensure that the listing exists for you to include in the signature of your RTAW Forums User account should you choose to register one.

MASA's Business Partnership Program

Q. How do I become a MASA Business Partner?

  1. Complete the registration process,
  2. Fill in the Partnership Schedule to ensure you meet the required criteria,
  3. Return the completed document to to our Partnership Coordinator.

Q. There don't seem to be enough options listed in the Partnership Schedule that are relevant to my business in order for me to qualify as a Partner. Can I request that the schedule be modified?

  1. We are always open to adding to or modifying our Partnership Schedule to ensure that it remains relevant and allows all business types to enter into a partnership with MASA.
  2. Unfortunately there may be cases where despite a businesses best efforts they may not be able to qualify as an official MASA partner.

RTAW Business Directory

Q. How do I add my Business into the RTAW Business Directory?

  1. Use the Add New Entry link. Any new submissions will require approval by one of our systems administrators before they become publicly viewable.

Q. How do I update details for my business in the RTAW Business Directory?

  1. Only one of our system administrators can edit records in the RTAW Business Directory. If you would like to add, remove or modify and details please contact our Partnership Coordinator or post your request in the MASA Business Partners Forum.

Q. What extra options do I get with a Premium listing in the RTAW Business Directory?

  1. Able to add a full description about your business.
  2. Able to add images of your business.

Q. How much does a Premium listing cost and how do I get one?

  1. See the Table of Fees in the Partnership Forum for details on costs.
  2. Contact our Partnership Coordinator to organise a Premium Listing.

Advertising

Q. How do I get a banner ad on RTAW?

  1. Complete the registration process,
  2. Contact our Partnership Coordinator to arrange banner advertising

Sponsorship

Q. How do I get involved in sponsoring an event?

  1. Complete the registration process,
  2. Full details of the range of events that are available for sponsorship are located in the Sponsorship Schedule. If you see an event that interests you without a current sponsor please contact the nominated person for that event.

Q. I have an idea for an event or initiative that I'd like to sponsor. What do I need to do?

  1. We are always on the lookout for ideas for new events that fit in with promoting RTAW and MASA. If you'd like to suggest a new event please contact our Partnership Coordinator.

General RTAW Forum Participation

Q. What do I need to do in order to post on the RTAW Forums?

  1. Complete the registration process,
  2. Create a profile on the RTAW forums,
  3. Add the link to your entry in the RTAW Business Directory to the signature in your RTAW Forums User account.
  4. Make sure that you have read and understood the rules associated with posting in the RTAW Forums.

Q. Can I post in the forums without registering?

  1. Technically yes, however this is against our rules. Any businesses found to be posting on the RTAW forums without registering will have their accounts automatically suspended after the expiry of a 7 day grace period. Accounts will only be reopened after registration has been completed.

Q. Why do I have to identify myself in my profile as being associated with a business?

  1. It is our view that the declaration of commercial interests avoids the problems associated with perceptions of potential commercial bias in posts made on the RTAW forums. Whilst the majority of businesses have ably demonstrated the ability to participate fully within the spirit of the forums there will always be a section of our community that remain skeptical of any commercial involvement and consequently we feel that the best way to address this is to keep things fully out in the open.
  2. Identification of users associated with a business is also required for our moderators to manage the RTAW Forums as per the rules and guidelines.

RTAW Business Forums

Q. What is the purpose of the Business Forums on RTAW?

  1. The Business forums exist to provide a place for businesses to promote their products & services to members of RTAW separate from the General Forums which are limited to education and information sharing.

Q. How do I get access to post in the Business Forums?

  1. If you provide a RTAW Forums username on your registration form that account will automatically by given access to the Business Forums.
  2. If you create a RTAW Forums account after you have registered you will need to contact our Partnership Coordinator who will be able to organise this for you.

Q. How do I get a standalone Business Forum for my business?

  1. Complete the registration process,
  2. Contact our Partnership Coordinator to arrange a standalone Business Forum.

Q. How much does a standalone Business Forum cost?

  1. See the Table of Fees in the Partnership Forum for details on costs.
